In 2023, Slovakia ranked 91st in global weapon imports, with Cyprus surpassing it with imports valued at $19 million. The top positions in the ranking were held by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. Conversely, Slovak weapon exports are on an upward trajectory. By 2028, exports are expected to reach nearly $54 million, up from about $32 million in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 8.3%. Since 1998, Slovakia's weapon exports have seen a robust annual increase of 21.4%.
