Japan's household refrigerator exports are forecast to reach $7 billion by 2026, dropping 4.7% per year on average from 2021's $9.2 billion. This would mark a 6.2% decline since 1993. In 2021, Japan was the 42nd largest exporter of household refrigerators, with Chile taking the top spot at $9.2 billion. Italy, Austria and Mexico followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Japanese household refrigerator imports are set to hit $207 million by 2026, representing a 3.5% compound annual growth rate since 2021 ($169 million). Compared to 1993, imports have increased 4.3% per year on average. In 2021, Japan stood at 6th place with Australia coming out ahead at $169 million. Germany, France and the United Kingdom were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
