Fiji's imports of bitumen are expected to reach 21 million kilograms by 2026, up from 16 million kilograms in 2021. This marks an annual growth rate of 3.7%, having increased 8.1% since 2007. Chile was in the lead in 2021, with 16 million kilograms, while Egypt, Oman and Canada were second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Fijian exports of bitumen are projected to reach 4.7 million kilograms by 2026, up from 4.3 million in 2021. This signifies a year-on-year growth rate of 1.3%, having grown 4.4% since 2007. Slovakia topped the 2021 rankings, with 4.3 million kilograms, followed by Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.
