By 2026, the number of child deaths in the Czech Republic is projected to fall to around 265 annually. This represents a 2.8% year-on-year average decline from the 311 deaths reported in 2021, and a 2.6% decrease since 1991. Switzerland had the lowest mortality rate at 311 deaths, with India, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo coming in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, vaccinations for children aged 12-23 months are expected to remain stable with a CAGR of 0.2%, with 97% of children receiving immunisation in 2021. The Czech Republic came 45th in the 2021 rankings, while Kiribati topped the list at 97%. Greece, Mongolia and Latvia were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
