This is down from 13.21 million tonnes of oil equivalent in 2021. Between 1965 and 2021, Irish energy supply decreased by 1.1% year on year, putting the country at 81st in the global rankings. Nepal overtook Ireland with 13.21 million tonnes of oil equivalent. The United States, India and Russia remained at the top of the rankings.
