Polish wheat consumption is expected to drop by 4,000 tons in the next five years, according to an annual report. The country is currently ranked 24th in the world, behind Ethiopia. India, the United States and Pakistan are the top three countries in this ranking. Polish wheat production is also set to increase by 400,000 tons in the next five years, with a 0.6% year-on-year average growth rate. Kazakhstan overtook Poland in 2021, with India, Russia and the United States ranked second, third and fourth in this ranking.
