Cambodia's coconut imports are projected to increase 1.4% year-on-year, reaching 15,000 metric tons by 2026. This follows the unchanged demand since 2017. Meanwhile, the nation's coconut production is expected to grow at an average rate of 0.4% year-on-year over the next five years, reaching 72,030 metric tons by 2026. This follows an increase of 0.1% year-on-year since 1966, when the country was ranked 31st worldwide. Madagascar overtook Cambodia in 2021 with 70,210 metric tons. India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka followed, respectively occupying the second, third and fourth spots.
