Senegal's pigment imports are projected to decline to approximately 58,700 kilograms by 2028, down from around 63,800 kilograms in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 1.3%. Despite this downward trend, the country's demand for pigments has seen an overall increase of 1.7% per year since 2001. On the export front, Senegal witnessed a dramatic surge in pigment exports in 2019, reaching 2,530 kilograms, a massive jump from just 14 kilograms in 2018. This marks an astounding increase of nearly 18,000%. However, since 2009, Senegal's pigment supply has generally decreased by an average of 31% annually.
