Croatia's tobacco production is set to decrease to 6,340 metric tons by 2026, a 2.6% fall year on year. Since 1997, production has dropped by 3.8% per year. In 2021, the country ranked 42nd, behind the Dominican Republic at 7,410 metric tons. India, Brazil and Zimbabwe came in second, third and fourth respectively. Croatian tobacco sales fell to $11.81 million in 2021 from $15.98 million in 2020, a 26.1% decline. Since 1999, the market has dropped 22.4% annually. The country ranked 45th in 2021, behind Lithuania at $11.81 million. Indonesia, the Philippines and Poland took second, third and fourth place respectively.
