Imports of prescription glasses are estimated to reach $29 million by 2026, a 4.5% drop from 2021's figure of $38 million. Since 2016, imports have declined by an average of 3.4% year-on-year. Italy was the number one importer in 2021, with $18 million, followed by India, Hungary and the Dominican Republic. Senegal saw an increase of 129% year-on-year, while Bulgaria experienced a decrease of 75% since 2016.
