According to recent figures, French transportation revenue is expected to reach €100.2 billion by 2026. This year, it stands at €93.7 billion, a 0.9% year-on-year growth since 1975. Currently, France is the second-largest market in terms of revenue, just behind Germany. Italy and Spain come in third and fourth, respectively. On the other hand, transportation expenditure in France is projected to reach €157.2 billion by 2026, up from €143.6 billion this year. This represents an average of 0.3% year-on-year growth since 1980, when it actually decreased by 1.5%. The United Kingdom is the biggest market when it comes to expenditure, followed by France, Italy and Spain.
