Armenia's tobacco production is set to decline 3.7% annually over the next five years. In 2021, the country achieved 872 metric tons, coming in at number 83. Nepal was ahead of Armenia with 872 metric tons. India, Brazil and Zimbabwe ranked as the second, third and fourth largest producers, respectively. In 2018, Armenia was the 27th-largest tobacco producer in terms of sales, at $199.28 million. This was up from $173.91 million in 2017. Iran, Indonesia, the Philippines and Poland were the top four producers in terms of sales.
