The Greek food market is set to see moderate growth over the next five years. Sales of food products are expected to reach €14.7 billion in 2026, an increase of 0.8% annually from 2021. This follows a 1.6% average year-on-year growth since 2013. Meanwhile, expenditures on food products are projected to reach €21.6 billion by 2026, up 0.4% year on year. That marks a 2.1% average year-on-year growth since 2000. However, production of food products is set to decline by 2.1% annually from 2021 to 2026. This follows a 5.3% average year-on-year decrease since 1966.
