Ethiopia is set to increase its fertilizer imports to 7,250 metric tons by 2026. This is a 4.1% increase year-on-year from 2021's 5,600 metric tons. Since 2008, Ethiopian demand has grown by nearly 70%, with Libya currently in first place at 5,600 metric tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand come in at second, third and fourth respectively.
