Belgium is poised to become the second-largest importer of potash by 2026. Current figures show the country imported 106.65 million kilograms in 2021, an increase of 3.2% year on year. This trend has been consistent since 2004, when demand rose 8.9% annually. Germany topped the ranking in 2021, importing 106.65 million kilograms of potash, followed by Belgium, France and Malaysia. South Korea, the United States and France ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
