Spanish imports and exports of fabric are both set to increase in the coming years. Imports are expected to reach $272 million by 2026, an increase of 1% on 2021's figure of $256 million. This is a 1% decline since 1994. El Salvador overtook Spain to come in at number 21 in 2021, while Indonesia, China and the United States came in second, third and fourth respectively. Exports are expected to reach $478 million by 2026, a 1.6% increase on 2021's figure of $436 million. This is a 2.3% increase since 1994. India overtook Spain in 2021, coming in at number 8, while South Korea, Italy and Germany came in second, third and fourth respectively.
