Alcoholic drink consumption in Colombia is forecast to decline slightly over the next five years, with an average decrease of 0.4% year on year. In 2021, the country came in at 23rd place in global demand, with 96,620 metric tons consumed. This was lower than Haiti, which consumed 99,000 metric tons. India, Japan and Russia were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Exports of alcoholic drinks from Colombia are expected to decrease by 0.3% year on year on average between 2021 and 2026, dropping from $29.1 million in 2021 to $28.7 million in 2026. Since 1996, exports have grown by 7.7% year on year.
