Consumption of pesticides in the Czech Republic is set to fall 1.8% year-on-year to 3,430 metric tons by 2026, down from 3,810 metric tons in 2021. This marks a 3% decrease since 1998. In 2021, the Czech Republic ranked ninth in the world in terms of total imports, with South Korea taking the lead with 86,870 metric tons. Thailand, Germany and Taiwan took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Czech pesticide exports are set to drop 3.5% year-on-year to 6.3 metric tons by 2026, down from 7.74 metric tons in 2021. This marks a 21.5% rise since 1999. In 2021, the Czech Republic ranked 19th in the world in terms of total exports, with Belarus overtaking with 7.74 metric tons. Germany, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
